Together Again!

Nathan is home! Everything is going well & Alexa is happy to have her brother back! Here is a short video of the babies together. They're just so cute! There is just no better feeling in the world than having these sweet babies here at the same time. I just can't believe it!

They are so cute together, I love just seeing them sleep right next to each other! Wow, you guys make some dang cute babies! Wish I could hold them before Dec :( I guess I'll have to settle for the video clips...keep it up!

i love little nathan in the video, just hanging out. he's probably so glad to be with his sister again. as i watched i realized how excited i am for our new baby.. thanks. i love those long fingers and the arms they can't control, man they are cute!

YAY!! You made my morning yet again. :) I LOVE seeing them together. Brings back such fun memories...memories that I so so miss! Enjoy every moment of it...they grow up FAST!
Nathan seems so laid back...at least in that video. And now seeing htem right next to each other...they look a lot a like! You can still see a few differences, but they are toatlly twins!! Can't wait to meet them!! Love you and so glad they are both home! What a blesing!

Yeah! I'm so glad to see them together! It's cute to see them "interact" a little, you can tell they are more comfortable together! Let me know when you're up for a visitor (no I will not bring my kids for a very long time, just to be safe!)

Today we got together with another set of twins! Caden & Addison are just a month younger than Nathan & Alexa and were born at Texas Women's also! I met their mom (Laurie) through an email list I got on while on bed rest in the hospital. There was another mom who was supposed to join us who also has boy/girl twins their age-- but she couldn't make it. What a picture that would have been!

Nathan McKay Oldroyd Born August 4th at 6:37 a.m., weighs 5 lbs. 8.5 oz, & is 20 in. long Alexa Dawn Oldroyd Born August 4th at 6:38 a.m., weighs 4 lbs. 5.5 oz, & is 1 6.75 in. long We are so excited that they are finally here! The C-Section went very well & Alisha is recovering well, with the help of pain meds! Nathan needs quite a bit of help with breathing but is improving. We’re told that he may get his ventilator tube out today & they would help him breathe using a C-pap. He breathes ok on his own so he mostly now just needs some pressure to remind him to breathe. He is still in the highest level of the NICU but is doing well. He’ll be in there for at least a few days after we get to go home. Alexa is tiny but doing extremely well. Alisha was able to hold her while still in the OR before she needed some oxygen help. She only had to stay on the oxygen until 11 a.m. and is still in the lower level NICU. She should get to move to the normal nursery tomorrow m...
