The Oldroyd Family

Lincoln had his first dentist visit today. He doesn't look too happy about it in the pictures, but he really did great! His teeth are spread apart, so much that I thought he was missing a lateral tooth, but the dentist says they're all there and looking good! We have about a year to get rid of the Binky... not looking forward to that!

Here's Mr. Lincoln in his happy place. He's not only watching the garbage truck drive down the street, but he's doing it with Grandpa John! Mondays are the best when I have a doctor's appointment. Linc gets to see the recycling and garbage trucks pick up early at our house, then he can see at least one of them at Grandma & Grandpa's! Little boy heaven! I also just love his new thing - putting his hands on his hips. He is 22 months old today and could not be any more fun than he is!

You know what they say about quiet toddlers... Lincoln and I were FaceTiming Grandpa and Grandma when he wandered away to play. I noticed that I hadn't heard from him in a while, so I went to check it out and this is what I found! So pretty, Lincoln!

I love everything about this boy. He is so much fun to hang out with every day! He is silly and almost always a happy camper. And when he's not happy, he's easy to make happy! I am so grateful for this baby boy. He is a joy in our family!

Lincoln has found his true love - garbage trucks. He loves standing out on the porch and waving to the garbage men each Monday and Thursday morning. He also would watch YouTube Kids videos of garbage truck for hours a day if I'd let him! I can bribe him to do almost anything if I tell him he can watch his videos. He is one funny boy and I can't get enough of him!

Nothing like snuggling up on the couch and watching YouTube videos of dump truck and puppies with babies with your big brother!

Lincoln LOVES to brush his teeth. I'm taking advantage of his obsession to keep him occupied while I'm getting ready for the day. He's pretty darn cute!

We didn't make it in to Dr. McDavitt for LJO's 18-mo well check until today. Here are Lincoln's stats: Weight: 23 lbs. We've been looking forward to this day for a while - Lincoln is finaly 18 months old and can go to nursery! I don't know if it's just his age or just having come home from our trip, but he is NOT ok with being left, as it turns out. Better luck next week!

My baby turned 15 months old on the 4th. I can't believe he's getting so big! It is such a fun age because he discovers and learns new things every day. He's like a little sponge! He loves to be like one of the big kids in everything he does. Lincoln had his well check on the 5th. Here are his stats: Weight: 23 lbs (40th %) Height: 32" (90th%) Head: 19.8" (100th%+) His head is still big, but he hasn't gained any weight since his 12 mo visit because he's always on the move! And he's getting so tall! Here are some things about Lincoln at this age: He finally started walking full time right before he turned 15 months When he did crawl, he was super speedy! Happy 4th! And Happy 13 MONTHS to my baby boy!

It has been one great year for our family as we've loved our little Lincoln and watched him grow. He is truly the happiest baby I've ever met and brings all of us joy every day! Here's a little about LJO at 1-year-old: Weight: 22 lbs 3 oz (64th%)   Length:  30 in. (53rd%)   Head: 19.5 in. (100th%) Lincoln takes 2 good naps a day (he almost always has to be woken up from them) and sleeps 10-11 hours at night. He generally gets up too early, but that has gotten better lately! He has beautiful blue eyes! Has 8 teeth He is a super fast crawler, stands when he's holding onto something, and cruises a little, but doesn't like to stand alone or walk at all. He has a silly personality and funny little fake laugh He loves all of his siblings, but Nathan makes him laugh the most! Lincoln is starting to talk. He says Mom or Mama a lot. There's been a lot of cuteness this month coming from Mr. President. This kid just knows he's cute!  LJO is loving his introduction to whole milk. Like father, like son! When he can't get the right leverage to pull up to standing, he uses his teeth to help him! Lincoln has the best big sister ever. He adores her and she is always willing to take the time to snuggle him, read to him, and play with him. What would I do without her?

I couldn't get him to smile, but this cute little stinker is 11 months old! He has 5 teeth, loves baths, ride in the bike trailer, he speed-army crawls, pulls up to stand, loves his siblings, hates baby snacks, and throws tantrums. I love his chubbiness, his sparkling blue eyes and his silly laugh. Can't believe his birthday is right around the corner! I love you Lincoln!

I just love these two!

This little cheeser is 10 months old! Lincoln has 4 teeth, army crawls everywhere, can sit up from his hands and knees, takes 2 good naps and sleeps 10ish hours at night. He's almost always happy, he loves his siblings & puppies, loves table food, loves to make people laugh & has my heart for sure!

Lincoln turned 9 months old on Wednesday. He's cutting some teeth so he kind of had a grumpy day. Pretty much the only thing that made him happy was sitting on the Radio Flyer scooter and pushing himself back and forth. He looks so much like Nathan in this picture! We went to the pediatrician yesterday and it was such a fun visit! No shots and the nurses passed Lincoln around while we waited for the doctor. He's such a ladies man! Lincoln is such a joy to have around. His almost always happy and is starting to show his BIG personality. Here are some thing about our cute little Chubba Wubs: Weight: 21 lbs 1 oz (74%)    Height: 28.25" (46%)    Head: 19.02" (100%) He takes 3 naps a day (2 short, 1 long) and sleeps from about 8:30 - 6:45. He takes 4 bottles a day but isn't very attached to them. He loves real food! He does ok on baby food but table food is where it's at for him! Lincoln got his first haircut today! It wasn't planned - I just took the kids for haircuts at my friend's house. But we trimmed up the back and he looks great! Such a big, handsome boy!
