Good Deal

I've recently joined the throngs of women who "coupon." I'm just getting the hang of it & figuring out which method works best for me. That's a whole other post...

I wanted to tell ya'll about a good deal I got. I wish I would have posted this earlier since Easter is tomorrow & the coupon expires Monday. I loved the movie, "All Dogs Go To Heaven" when I was younger & frequently see it in the $5 movie bin at Walmart. Well I found a coupon on smartsource.com for $3 off. I went to Walmart today & there it was in the $5 bin... so I got this movie for $2! So I wanted to share the great deal incase you too love that movie & might possibly want to add it to your collection!
Incedentally, I got another great deal at Walmart today. I planned on getting the Playskool Ball Popper toy for the babies for Easter. I've seen it around for $25. It was marked as $11 today & I got the last one! I couldn't find it on Walmart's website so maybe they're clearning them out. I just think it's the coolest toy so I wanted to share that as well!

Yay, thanks for the tip. I love that movie too. Can I still get it tomorrow?? My girls loved (and still love) :) that ball popper. Sadly, I was one who paid $25 for it, not $11.... great deal!
So fun seeing you and the kiddos yesterday... wish I could have talked with you longer! Thanks so much for coming and thank you again for the maternity shirts, preemie clothes and of course McKay's adorable outfit!! Love ya!

Today we got together with another set of twins! Caden & Addison are just a month younger than Nathan & Alexa and were born at Texas Women's also! I met their mom (Laurie) through an email list I got on while on bed rest in the hospital. There was another mom who was supposed to join us who also has boy/girl twins their age-- but she couldn't make it. What a picture that would have been!

Nathan McKay Oldroyd Born August 4th at 6:37 a.m., weighs 5 lbs. 8.5 oz, & is 20 in. long Alexa Dawn Oldroyd Born August 4th at 6:38 a.m., weighs 4 lbs. 5.5 oz, & is 1 6.75 in. long We are so excited that they are finally here! The C-Section went very well & Alisha is recovering well, with the help of pain meds! Nathan needs quite a bit of help with breathing but is improving. We’re told that he may get his ventilator tube out today & they would help him breathe using a C-pap. He breathes ok on his own so he mostly now just needs some pressure to remind him to breathe. He is still in the highest level of the NICU but is doing well. He’ll be in there for at least a few days after we get to go home. Alexa is tiny but doing extremely well. Alisha was able to hold her while still in the OR before she needed some oxygen help. She only had to stay on the oxygen until 11 a.m. and is still in the lower level NICU.
