We've been up to lots of fun stuff at the Oldroyd house!

This is how I find Nathan if I don't buckle him into his seat. He rolls right over. He thinks he's pretty funny!

I made a video the other day of Alexa talking to herself. This is what I hear ALL DAY. It is adorable. Except at 5:30 in the morning. And for some reason when she wakes up, she talks REALLY LOUD! I guess to make sure we hear her!


A friend of my mom's sent these hand print keepsake kits of the babies so I decided to make them for 6 months. It's supposed to be the hand prints in one side & a picture in the other but I just put both handprints in one. It turned out cute! Thanks Mrs. Czupak! (P.S. Don't be fooled into thinking the babies sat in their Bumbos through the whole process... they lasted all of 5 minutes! Oh well, maybe they'll participate in crafts more when they're older... & when candy is involved!)

Nathan has gotten really "grabby" lately. He's so curious! He crabs & tastes whatever he can get his chubby little hands on. He often reaches over to Lexie while their in their stroller or sitting together & steals her toy, sucks on her blanket, or her hand will do too, I guess! I love Alexa's face in the 2nd one!

We also FINALLY hung things in the babies' nursery. I'll take pictures later & post them. For now, we're off to play with Jamie & her girls for the day! We can't wait!

I like how the twins are always holding hands or leaning into each other. Even after sharing very close quarters for 9 months, they still like to hang tight!

Cute, cute little babies!! It was SO fun seeing y'all on Friday!! We must get together again soon. :) Hope they slept a little for you in the car and their schedule didn't get too messed up!
Also, glad you found some soft books for a great price! Love that store!

Nathan McKay Oldroyd Born August 4th at 6:37 a.m., weighs 5 lbs. 8.5 oz, & is 20 in. long Alexa Dawn Oldroyd Born August 4th at 6:38 a.m., weighs 4 lbs. 5.5 oz, & is 1 6.75 in. long We are so excited that they are finally here! The C-Section went very well & Alisha is recovering well, with the help of pain meds! Nathan needs quite a bit of help with breathing but is improving. We’re told that he may get his ventilator tube out today & they would help him breathe using a C-pap. He breathes ok on his own so he mostly now just needs some pressure to remind him to breathe. He is still in the highest level of the NICU but is doing well. He’ll be in there for at least a few days after we get to go home. Alexa is tiny but doing extremely well. Alisha was able to hold her while still in the OR before she needed some oxygen help. She only had to stay on the oxygen until 11 a.m. and is still in the lower level NICU. 37 Weeks 2 Days

It's almost the end! I saw Dr. Adam last Thursday and I'm starting to spill protein and swell a little. But my BP is good! So we'll see what happens when I see her this Thursday. We may have to deliver early! I have mixed feelings about that because I really wanted to make it to 39 weeks, and my parents can't come until the 14th. But Sam is worried about my kidneys. So we'll see. Baby girl was 6.5 lbs last week. Even if she comes this week, she'll probably be about 7 lbs! Me on the other hand... I've gained 40 lbs! I have 5 lbs to go to be where I was with my other deliveries. Let's see if I get there! :)
