It is FINALLY time!

We finally met in our new church building today. It is BEAUTIFUL. The best part about it-- it's exactly .6 miles from our house. Our old church building was at least a 15 minute drive. I just LOVE how close it is! The building is really nice too. It even SMELLS new. Well, except for the mother's lounge. Nathan took care of that today with the biggest blow out of his life. He just wanted to do his part to break in the new building. Anyhow, I am so excited that my kids will have the opportunity, as I did (growing up in Utah) to WALK to church. How fun!

That is so nice. We just got a new ward building too. We had to drive about 7 minutes away (Which is pretty bad for Utah) But now just a minute away. That is so nice for you guys.

It was a very special day indeed. The building is beautiful. And I'm so glad I could be there in the mother's room to share Nathan's inaugural blow-out. You handled it well!

Yay!!!!!! No more ghetto, no more driving 20 min's!!!!! Our building is designed just like that one and it is so HUGE. I get lost!

The things we Utahns take for granted. Our ward recently split and they haven't finished our new building so we've had to drive 10 whole minutes in Utah to church--crazy but a good reminder of how lucky we are :)

Today we got together with another set of twins! Caden & Addison are just a month younger than Nathan & Alexa and were born at Texas Women's also! I met their mom (Laurie) through an email list I got on while on bed rest in the hospital. There was another mom who was supposed to join us who also has boy/girl twins their age-- but she couldn't make it. What a picture that would have been!

Nathan McKay Oldroyd Born August 4th at 6:37 a.m., weighs 5 lbs. 8.5 oz, & is 20 in. long Alexa Dawn Oldroyd Born August 4th at 6:38 a.m., weighs 4 lbs. 5.5 oz, & is 1 6.75 in. long We are so excited that they are finally here! The C-Section went very well & Alisha is recovering well, with the help of pain meds! Nathan needs quite a bit of help with breathing but is improving. We’re told that he may get his ventilator tube out today & they would help him breathe using a C-pap. He breathes ok on his own so he mostly now just needs some pressure to remind him to breathe. He is still in the highest level of the NICU but is doing well. He’ll be in there for at least a few days after we get to go home. Alexa is tiny but doing extremely well. Alisha was able to hold her while still in the OR before she needed some oxygen help. She only had to stay on the oxygen until 11 a.m. and is still in the lower level NICU.
