Christmas 2010
This Christmas has been so fun! Not only has it been great because its the first year that we have kids who "get it" but we also had the privilege of having Grandpa & Grandma down here from Utah with us! They flew in on the night of the 23rd. We got up the next morning & headed into Houston to the Children's Museum. Nathan & Alexa had such a great time exploring!
That evening we enjoyed Christmas Eve festivities at the Oldroyd's before heading home to open the traditional Christmas Even Jammies. They say, "Dear Santa, I can explain!" So cute! Thanks Grandma! We then left cookies & milk out for Santa & headed off to bed.
Santa did indeed visit our home during the night. He ate the cookies, drank the milk, and left presents for the good little children before quietly slipping off to another home.
After presents we had the Oldroyds & Allens over for breakfast. Later that night we went over to the Oldroyd's for the annual Christmas Present scavenger hunt. The kids had a great day & the adults were exhausted!

Grandpa & Grandma headed home on Monday. It was SO great having them here! We are so lucky to have such great family. We definitely missed everyone we couldn't be with!

Max was just so excited to see what Santa had brought him that he woke up at 5 am! The other two slept until 7. We ate a quick little breakfast snack before starting the presents. The kids were sure spoiled by Santa, Grandparents & Mom & Dad. It was a bit overwhelming but lots of fun to see their excitement!
Some highlights of the gifts were: A Baseball display for daddy, new shoes for Mommy, a family trip to Schiltterbaun from Grandma & Grandpa, a trains & roads playmat for the kids from Mom & Dad, Thomas the Train track set & trains for Nathan & Alexa, a ride on Alphabet train for Max from Santa, and I could go on! The kids got SO many new fun things to keep their attention, later that evening I dumped every single toy that was not new into 2 totes & put them away! After presents we had the Oldroyds & Allens over for breakfast.
