Max's 2 Year Stats

Max visited the pediatrician last week. He's a growing boy! Here are his stats:

Weight: 27 lbs (36%) Height: 35 1/2 in (76th%) Head: 19 1/2 in. (71st%)

Max did really well at the doctor's office. He had to have one shot & when the nurse gave it to him, he said, "Ow ow ow! Don't like dat!" He was pretty mad for a minute but got over it quickly when he got his 4 Thomas stickers!

Here is some info about Max at 2:

He talks A LOT & has a big vocabulary. I'm constantly amazed at new words he saying & ways he expresses himself
He's all about the laugh - he loves to be silly
He loves music & loves to sing.
He's really into trains, especially Thomas, just like his brother & sister were at this age.
He loves playing with other kids & is learning how to share
He loves animals
He still takes a 3 hour nap & sleeps from 8pm-7am. He is usually begging to go down for his nap by 11am.
Still takes a binky for naps & night-time
Has quite the collection of bed buddies. He has a giraffe pillow pet, a stuffed dog, a sea horse that glows & plays music, his blanket, and of course his special binky that is attached to a ribbon lovey.
His motor skills are improving! He's started to jump, walk backwards, and run without tripping.
After a few hard months, he's FINALLY going into nursery with no problem. Although I found out he doesn't talk at all or really play much. Oh well- at least he's not screaming!
He's a monster to get dressed or change his diaper
He is very stubborn & will NOT do something he doesn't want to do
He's a pretty good eater. Pancakes are his favorite food & he loves chocolate milk (which is really half milk, half chocolate almond milk). He also loves chicken, broccoli, cucumbers, carrots, grapes,bananas, apples, Z-bars, fruit leather and his new obsession is Cheerios (he's had 4 bowls today).
He LOVES going to Grandma's house
As much as he loves his brother & sister, he is a dream child when he's alone. He's a great little shopping buddy or helper. But as soon as N & A are around, he's kind of a mess.
He definitely has entered the "Terrible Twos" tantrum phase.
He's very good at saying thank you & I love you.
He's just the sweetest, snuggliest boy around! Super spoiled & we love him!
